All our products are handmade and ready to ship. But we take custom orders too. Please contact us for a quote and timeline. Small custom orders will be ready within 3 to 5 business days and bigger custom orders will take longer depending on the quantity. If you require something urgently, please contact us directly and we will try our best to accommodate you.


The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order. We take great care in the placement of prints for an aesthetically pleasing look.

Care for your new product(s):

  • Always untie the knot and drape around the collar of a coat or on a tie rack.
  • Wrinkles usually disappear by the next day or so if ties are draped as above. But if that doesn’t work you can try steaming it.
  • Only cotton fabric ties can be ironed by placing a cloth over the tie.
  • Try and avoid stains on the tie. Some stains can be spot cleaned depending on the fabric. Silks are particularly difficult to spot clean and are tricky. If all else fails take it to a dry cleaner.

Your product(s) can be damaged if:

  • Used roughly
  • Washed in laundry
  • Since we use a variety of fabrics to create our neck wear, care should be taken with each kind of fabric and discretion used to store and clean them.


Items will be dispatched by ordinary parcel post within 1 to 2 business days of receiving payment. We use Australia Post for shipping all our products whether national or international.

If you would like to upgrade shipping to registered post or speed post, please let us know and we will inform you of the postage accordingly.

Customs policies and import duties differ from country to country. Watford Ties is NOT responsible for any customs duty or taxes for international shipping. These charges come from your country during importation of your package and if applicable you are responsible for paying these.

Once the item has left our hands, it is the responsibility of the postal system to deliver it safely to the destination address.

We charge a flat shipping rate of AUD $5.00 for National and AUD $15 for International orders which includes postage, packaging and handling. We offer free shipping for all orders over $100.

Shipping Timeline

National: Between 2 to 3 business days anywhere in Australia except Western Australia which is between 3 to 5 business days.

International: Between 7 to 10 business days.


If you are not satisfied, with your purchase, you can return it within 15 days of receiving the item in an unused condition for an exchange or store credit (tags must still be intact & not removed) Buyer to pay safe return shipping costs.

If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Personalized and/or customized items are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective from our side. We will replace items if they are defective or damaged. Photographic proof is required. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at watford.ties@gmail.com .

Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned.

To return your product, you should contact us at watford.ties@gmail.com for an address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a track-able shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible if we don’t receive your returned item.
